Overview
--------

Orange JeOS is a free, open source Linux distribution designed for hardware
and software appliances and is based on the excellent CentOS distribution.


Core Features
-------------

- Supports RPM packages and Yum repository updates
- Unmodified CentOS kernels
- All RPMs are available via standard CentOS repositories
- Supports IP v4 and iptable firewall
- Supports both IDE and SCSI target drives
- Supports SELinux and NSA SNAC Guide recommendations
- Supports SSH, sudo, PAM, ntp and vim
- Supports LVM2 and Python 2.4


Supported systems
-----------------

Orange JeOS has been tested on the following platforms:
- x86 minimum of 2.7 GB hard disk and 128 MB RAM

Future planned architectures include:
- powerpc
- mips
